In first article DIEGUES it argues, in three chapters, on what is supported development, approaching the environment and its ecological and economic functions, the ecological bases of the supported development, the natural ecosystems and geoambiental management e, still, points the instruments with respect to the gerenciamentos geoambiental and of natural resources, citing as example of geoambiental management, the coastal management. In the introductory chapter it discourses on global the ambient crisis, pointing the main problems lived deeply currently, emphasizing the necessity of if planning and organizing the use of the natural resources in order to obtain the balance between these and the humanity. Still, it makes a brief historical survey of the process of sprouting of the ambient crisis, its causes and the appearance of organizations whose object of quarrel had been the ambient problems and the objective was to present proposals that came to solve such problems. In as the chapter it searchs to define the boarded subjects, stimulating a reflection on the ambient problems and the necessity of the humanity if to develop in harmony with the environment. In this context, it presents some instruments that contribute for the process of supported development the end to cure the limitations and obstacles that the thematic one possesss.
